Sole Reason hosts a couple of benefit events during the year, to include our annual golf tournament, the Sneaker's & Smiles Golf Tournament in June. We also host an annual bowl-a-thon in honor of one of our former board members, Shannon Nichol, the Shannon Nichol Memorial Bowl-A-Thon late in the year. In addition to these annual events, we have also hosted a pickleball tournament, card party, and more!

Sole Reason's 7th Annual Sneakers & Smiles Golf Tournament

Our 2025 Golf Tournament will be held on Friday & Saturday, June 27 & 28 to benefit local kids in need! This will be our second two day event! We are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) that partners with local schools and other organizations to provide NEW SNEAKERS to kids in need living in the Topeka area. Since 2016 we have provided over 9,000 pairs of shoes. The price of shoes has risen and the need is great! This is Sole Reason’s main fundraising event for the year and YOUR SUPPORT will be greatly appreciated.
